Partnership for Torah is a coalition of Rabbis and educators from around Vancouver, who join forces to offer a complete spectrum of classes. Under one tent you will have the opportunity to study philosophy, Halacha, Kabbalah, Talmud from beginning to advanced or weekly parsha. The genius of the Chassidic masters is a personal spiritual model extraverted for the sake of Chassidism (devotees of that particular Rebbe/Master). In this class we will study the key ideas of the greatest lights of the Cassidic world and apply these to insights to our daily life.
Legal Issues in the Talmud Rabbi Aaron Kamin

The Book of Kohelet
Is there meaning to life or is that just a conceit of humanity? The book of Kohelet discusses, in poetic form , the very basic issues of the meaning of life , the proper path to guide one’s life decisions, the seeming paradox that a just G-d allows the wicked to prosper, and similar issues. The class will explore the Hebrew text, the Targum (Aramaic translation), Midrash, and classic commentaries to grasp King Solomon’s framing of the questions and answers.

The Making of a Haggadah; Parsha of the Week
The Haggadah has been a platform for thousands of centuries. We will embark on writing our own Schara Tzedeck Haggadah as we meet, study and discuss the various elements of this ancient text. Our goal will be to write a Haggadah that espouses and incorporates Schara Tzedeck experience.
